World’s (2nd) Largest Fire Hydrant at Elm Creek

Built over the course of seven months by volunteer fire fighters and completed in July 2001, this fire hydrant is 29 and 1/2 ft. tall, beating Beaumont, Texas by 5 1/2 ft. It was unveiled on Canada Day.
