United Way Pembina Valley (UWPV)는 2021년 지역의 20개 단체에 114,000 달러 그리고 학생들에게 7,500 달러의 장학금을 지급하였다.
United Way Pembina Valley는 지난주 Morden과 Winkler 지점이 합병한 이후 처음으로 대규모로 모이는 미팅을 가졌고, 미팅에서는 2022년 모금목표로 140,000 달러를 설정하였다.

United Way Pembina Valley에 기금을 보내려는 사람들은 Winkler 또는 Morden의 Access Credit Union 지점 그리고 Winkler Senior Centre에서 직접 낼 수 있다. unitedwaypembinavalley.ca에서 온라인으로 기부금을 낼 수도 있고, 체크는 United Way, PO Box 758, Morden, MB, R6M 1A7로 보내면 된다. 그리고 직원급여 공제를 원하는 기업들은 United Way Pembina Valley와 상의하면 된다.

■ Casera와 Carpathia를 합병하는 Access Credit Union
얼마전 Amaranth Credit Union과 합병을 진행하고 있다는 발표를 했던 Access Credit Union이 이번에는 Casera Credit Union 그리고 Carpathia Credit Union과 유사한 논의를 진행하고 있다는 사실을 공개했다.
Casera Credit Union은 1951년 CNR Transcona Shops의 직원신용조합으로 출발하여 Transcona와 St Vital에 3개 지점이 있다. Casera Credit Union은 12,000명의 회원에 501 밀리언 달러의 자산이 있다.
Carpathia Credit Union은 1940년 설립되었으며, 위니펙에서 5개 지점을 운영하고 있다. Carpathia Credit Union은 12,000명이 넘는 회원과 600 밀리언 달러 이상의 자산을 확복하고 있으며, 2019년 North Winnipeg Credit Union과 합병하기도 했다.
Access Credit Union의 보도자료에 따르면, 2022년 7월 현재 매니토바에는 19개 Credit Union이 있는데, 7개는 위니펙 그리고 12개는 위니펙이 아닌 지역에 있다.
Access Credit Union은 2022년초 Noventis Credit Union과 Sunova Credit Union을 합병하여 10.4 빌리언 달러의 자산을 가진 매니토바 최대의 Credit Union이 되었다.
