11월초 캐나다의 테크 업체 리더들은 연방정부의 Chrystia Freeland (Finance 담당) 장관에서 캐나다의 오픈 뱅킹 시스템 도입이 다른 국가들에 비해 뒤쳐지고 있으며, 이것이 국가의 경쟁력과 관련이 있다는 서한을 발송했었다.

Canadian Credit Union Association에 따르면, Assiniboine Credit Union은 지난 9월 기준으로 캐나다에서 15번째 규모이다.
2021년 Crosstown 그리고 지난해 Noventis와 Amaranth를 합병한 11.2 빌리언 달러의 Access Credit Union이 매니토바 최대 그리고 전국에서 6번째로 큰 크레딧 유니온이다.
