위니펙의 대표적 고층 빌딩으로 Portage와 Main의 코너에 있는 Richardson Centre를 관리하는 BGO Properties는 보도자료에서 새로운 입주자를 위한 라운지와 골프 시뮬레이터 시설을 올해초까지 완료할 것이라고 했다.
위니펙 다운타운의 공실률이 높은 이유는 True North Square 빌딩이 들어섰고, COVID-19이 시작된 이후로 원격 근무자가 늘어났기 때문이다.
그러나 위니펙 교외 사무실 “좋은 상태”를 나타내고 있다는 것이 CBRE 보고서의 설명이다.
2023년 4분기 공실률은 10.9 퍼센트로 3분기의 12 퍼센트에서 낮아졌다. 올해초 공실률은 7.7 퍼센트였다.
