매니토바 주정부가 노동력 부족의 문제를 해결하면서 현재와 같은 이민증가 추세를 유지하기 위해 새로운 자문위원회 Advisory Council on Economic Immigration and Settlement (ACEIS)를 구성하였다.
ACEIS는 Immigration Advisory Council이 총70개의 권고사항을 제시한 보고서를 발표하고 해산한지 4개월만에 구성된 위원회이다. ACEIS의 의장은 Immigration Advisory Council 멤버였던 Lana Adeleye-Olusae씨이다.

Ukrainian Canadian Congress는 Manitoba Métis Federation과 파트너십을 구성하여 25명에서 30명의 우크라이나 이민자들이 데이케어에서 일할 수 있도록 Early Childhood Education 인증서를 발급하였다.
