매니토밴 10명 중 1명 이상의 비율로 제기한 다른 이슈로는 생활비 상승 (14 퍼센트), 마약과 중독 문제 (12 퍼센트) 그리고 주택 (11 퍼센트) 등도 있었다.
이번주에 발표된 여론조사 데이터를 보면, NDP는 위니펙 시내에서 57 퍼센트 그리고 매니토바 전체적으로는 49 퍼센트의 지지를 받는 것으로 나타났다.
PC는 위니펙에서 28 퍼센트 그리고 매니토바 전체적으로 38 퍼센트의 지지를 받고 있었다. Liberal은 위니펙에서 11 퍼센트 그리고 매니토바 전역에서는 9 퍼센트의 지지를 받고 있었다.
여론조사에 따르면, 응답자의 52 퍼센트는 NDP가 헬스 케어를 개선하는데 가장 적합하다고 믿기 때문에 지금은 NDP에 투표하겠다고 했다. 이것이 2019년 PC를 지지했던 사람들이 이번에는 NDP를 지지한다는 이유이다.
중독과 멘탈 헬스에 문제가 있는 사람들을 돕는데 어느 정당이 가장 적합한지를 묻는 질문에서도 51 퍼센트가 NDP를 선택하였다.
응답자의 41 퍼센트는 NDP가 생활비 상승에 대한 문제를 대처하는데 적합한 것으로 답했고, 37 퍼센트는 NDP가 교육 시스템을 개선할 것으로 생각하고 있었다.
여론조사는 또한 위니펙 유권자들과 시골/북부지역 유권자들이 우려하는 것이 다르다는 것도 알려주고 있다. 범죄와 폭력에 대해 위니펙 유권자들은 31 퍼센트가 우려를 하고 있지만, 시골/북부지역 유권자들은 17 퍼센트에 불과했다.
헬스 케어에 대한 우려는 도시와 농촌지역 유권자들이 23 퍼센트로 동률을 이루었다. 빈곤/홈리스를 문제라고 생각하는 농촌 거주자는 7 퍼센트에 불과했지만, 도시 거주자는 34 퍼센트나 되는 것으로 나타났다.
위니펙보다 시골/북부지역 거주자들에게 더 중요한 문제는 생활비인 것으로 나타났다. 시골/북부지역 거주자는 17 퍼센트 그리고 위니펙 거주자는 12 퍼센트였다.
인프라에 대해서는 위니펙 거주자가 8퍼센트 그리고 시골/북부지역 거주자는 10 퍼센트였다. 일자리/경제에 대해서는 위니펙 거주자는 10 퍼센트 그리고 시골/북부지역 거주자는 6 퍼센트였다.
이번 여론조사는 9월 7일부터 18일까지 매니토바 성인 1,000명을 대상으로 실시되었으며, 신뢰도 95 퍼센트에 표본오차 ±3.1 퍼센트이다.
