Environment Canada Issues Snowfall Warning of 10 to 20 cm

A Colorado low is forecasted this weekend. Snow on the north side of this system will spread into southeastern Manitoba beginning Saturday morning and ending late Saturday night.

Environment Canada says that total snowfalls will range from 10 to 20 centimetres in the warned regions, with the highest amounts likely in the southeast corner of the province around Sprague.

Winnipeg is not expected to be hit with the worst of the system. Amounts of snowfall will increase as you go south and east of the city.

Snowfall warning issued for:

Steinbach – St. Adolphe – Emerson – Vita – Richer, Man.

Whiteshell – Lac du Bonnet – Pinawa, Man.

Sprague – Northwest Angle Provincial Forest, Man.
